Melbourne On the Road

Melbourne, Australia
The first question I had on arriving was "Where are the people in Melbourne?" Later, it was answered - it depends on the time and the season. Particularly the sporting season! March : Gran Prix F1 November: the Melbourne Cup Sports makes this city a popular Place. It recently even hosted the 2006 Commonwealth Games, bringing the city to the international fore once again.

Melbourne is the Australian city that has a laid-back European style, making you feel that you could literally stay forever ...

The tram will take you around the city in a Fast and Easy comfortable way...

There are many reasons to go to Melbourne:

+ Lygon street (An Italian Area full with restaurants and happy people that enjoy spending their time eating and visiting with friends)
+ Chinatown downtown at Swanston street
+ Chaple St gives you many choices of shopping cheap and expensive, strange and fun all on one road
If you're looking for nightlife, you can check out St Kilda, the most happening area in Melbourne. There are many bars and restaurants to show you the best time ever in Australia.

Are you a fan of live music? Yes? If so, you can't miss the ESPY formerly known as the the Esplanade hotel. Wow. The best place in town where you can listen to some great live music.

If you've got the time, take a road trip. A few hours out of Melbourne is the Great ocean Road, some stunning coastal scenery and of course, the 12 Apostles - impressive! If this still isn't enough, try taking in the sunset at Phillip Island, and wait for the island's resident colony of fairy penguins return home from their daily adventures.

In the end, when your money is almost finished, try your luck at the Crown Casino!
