Ashanti Guest Houses are two newly-renovated Victorian buildings, each offering its own self-catering kitchen, chilled balcony and private en-suite rooms a short walk from Ashanti Lodge Backpackers (where reception is).

Each en-suite room has unlimited free wi-fi, a flat screen television with satellite channels, tea/coffee making facilities in the room and fabulous prints of Old Cape Town.

Each house has its own fully-equipped self-catering kitchen as well as a shady balcony to chill out at the end of your day. All the other facilities such as swimming pool, breakfast room, bar and travel desk are at the main lodge around the corner.

Each room also has a telephone with direct access to the 24-hour reception.

Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

We are happy to accommodate children in the guest house and as these rooms do not have a single supplement the child rate (50%) will only apply to the third or fourth person.

Unfortunately our property is not suitable for wheel chair users due to the number of steps.
