Informations about Pal's Hostel

We also offer private rooms with a shared bathroom. Most of them are in apartments where we work (where our reception desk is, where we do the laundry...). All apartments/rooms are within 100-400 metres of our office.

Please note that our rooms called 'Basic Double Bed Private (Shared Bathroom)' are literally with double beds.
Please also note that we have no elevator for the rooms with shared bathrooms (but they’re only on the 1st and 2nd floors:)).
And we have no A/C:(

We’re very close to Deak Ferenc Square, the main junction for all undergrounds in Budapest. We are happy to be at your assistance here. You can print your e-ticket, buy tickets for the Szechenyi baths, Gellert baths or the caving tour. We also sell the Budapest Card. We have reasonable local knowledge to give you advice. We can help you get to Ozora Festival, Sziget Festival or Balaton Sound!

We can pick you up at the airport for €24 for 1-4 people; this means if there’s four of you it’s only €6 per person, while public transport is about €2.50 per person. Our contact information will be in your booking confirmation email.

We’re in the very centre of downtown. From here you can easily get to most of the sights on foot, such as Saint Stephen Basilica, Chain Bridge, Parliament, Andrassy Avenue (part of the World Heritage), Opera House, Great Synagogue, National Museum, Vaci Street, Vorosmarty Square and a lot of restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, party places on foot as well (like Akvarium Club, Anker Club, Castro Bistro, Szimpla Pub and Katapult).

Other important sightseeing spots like Buda Castle (also part of the World Heritage with the Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church and the National Gallery), Heroes' Square, the City Park or the baths (Szechenyi, Gellert, Rudas) are also close. You can be there in 20-30 minutes.

The Danube bank is only five minutes’ walk away!
