FROM THE AIRPORT:

From the airport, catch a shuttle bus (30 kn a person for a one way trip). It takes about 40 minutes to reach Split and the bus will drop you off at the main bus station. From there just refer to the directions below.
If youre catching a taxi, tell the driver to drop you off at the taxi stand on the main promenade, and from there follow the directions below.


FROM THE FERRY/BUS/TRAIN HUB:

From the ferry/bus/train hub, walk towards Diocletian's Palace (to your right if facing the water). After about 5 minutes, you will reach a taxi stand. Turn right and walk through the markets alongside the Palace wall until you see a big stone archway gate to your left - Silver Gate. Go through and continue past Peristil square with St Duje Cathedral (big bell tower) and for another 60 meters until you reach the Calzedonia shop. Turn right and walk straight up the street. You'll see a corner building with 'Uje' Oil Bar & Restaurant on the ground floor. The hostel is in them same building, just walk past the restaurant into the blind alley straight ahead, our entrance is the white door on the right, Dominisova 3.
Old Town Hostel is located within the walls of the UNESCO Heritage site, Diocletian's Palace. We are a close walk from all the major historical sights, as well as restaurants and nightlife spots. It's a 10 minute walk from the hostel to the main ferry terminal, bus and train station, and it takes 15-20 minute to get to Marjan hill and the popular Bacvice beach.
PLEASE NOTE: *Reception hours: 08:00 - 22:00 (please contact us if you're arriving outside of reception hours). Throughout April 2018, reception opens at 9am! *We have a hostel cat, so if you are allergic or don't like cats, we are probably not the best choice *We are a little tricky to find - being inside a UNESCO Heritage zone we are not allowed to put up signs, so make sure to carefully follow directions. *Check-in: 2pm *Check-out: 12:00 (noon) *Tourist tax of 8kn per person per night is not included in the price. *We do not accept credit cards. Payment must be in Croatian kuna. *We are on the 3rd floor, so please keep this in mind if you're carrying heavy luggage. *Party people and heavy boozers are most welcome, however, take note that we have to keep the noise down from 10pm until 8am due to city noise restriction laws.

We are located within the walls of Diocletian's Palace, within a stone's throw from the hippest bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, fast food joints etc.

Our newly renovated and refurbished dorms are all air-conditioned and equipped with safety lockers.
Facilities at your service include a spacious, well equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a guest computer, towel rental (10kn) and laundry service.

The common room - chill out central, features a big screen TV with a hard drive packed with movies and brand new seasons of your favorite shows. A book exchange and a selection of board games are sure to make a relaxed night indoors an inviting option.

If, instead, you're here to explore Split's nightlife, what better place to start then the old town! Kick off the night at one of the many bars and then move onto the popular Bacvice beach clubs (15 min walk) where you can get your groove on until the early morning hours.
