By foot/bike from the train station
This is the best way to get a first glimpse at the city!
Just walk down from the Train Station 'St Charles' to the Vieux Port.
1 . Walk down the white marble stairs,
2. Walk down the street first called 'Boulevard d'Athnes' then 'Boulevard Dugommier' until you cross 'La Canebire'
3. At La Canebire (the local 'Champs Elyses, you can't miss it) turn right down to the port 'Vieux Port',
4. ... and you will hit the Vieux Port in about 10 min.

Once at the Vieux Port, turn left and take the large street first called 'Cours Jean Ballard' then 'Rue Breteuil'.
The hostel is at number 12 on Rue Breteuil, right side of the street, just before the flower shop 'Interflora', buzz at 'Hello Marseille', and we await for you on the 3rd floor.

Free City Bikes
If you are a bit tired or if your backpack is too heavy to carry, 'Le Vlo' Free City Bikes are available at the bike station down the white stairs. For a 1 euro ticket, you'll be able to use bikes all the week around the city, an investment worth the benefit ;). (Note: Credit Card is necessary to subscribe. Free for 30', then you have to change bike and go again for 30 free minutes)

Metro 'Vieux Port - Hotel de Ville'
The metro of Marseille has 2 lines. it's very convenient to get downtown. The subway is rather clean and safe. We recommend you the 3 days pass that allows the use of busses and metro for just 10,5 . A good deal, for sure when you know that a single travel costs you 1,5 .

To get to Hello Marseille, just go downtown.
From the Train Station enter the subway blue line 'M1' direction 'LA FOURRAGERE', and exit 2 stations later at 'VIEUX PORT'
Exit the metro, and walk 150 meters on rue de Breteuil to get to Hello Marseille
