Madrid has everything for everybody, you can find great art at the most important museums like "El Prado", "Reina Sofía" or "Thyssen Bornemisza", you can find great sightseeings at "Puerta de Alcalá", "Paseo del Prado", "Gran Vía", "Plaza Mayor", "Plaza de España", "Palacio Real";

there's shopping for every budget, at Serrano street you can find the most exclusive stores, and if you don't want to spend a lot of money you can go downtown or to the "Rastro" on sundays, you can also go to the famous "El Corte Inglés" or to any mall;
there's also delicious food in every corner, also for all tastes, extravagant to simple, sophisticated to typical, very spanish like or international;
the nightlife is never ending, finding the best places to see "sevillanas" or "flamenco", techno discos, all kinds of pubs and afterhours clubs too.
And if you haven't got enough of this, then you can go to lots of beautiful cities or villages not far from the capital.
You see, Madrid is in the middle of Spain, so in no more than 6 hours by car you can be anywhere north, south, east or west.
