Althrough history it has been and still is the commercial capital of Japan with its center port and industry.
Inside the Osaka Castle lies the City museum that will give you the historical, cultural en economic stories of this beautiful city, and country. It is also possible to see original items found and selected through out time.
You will possibly pass the station, and next to that there is lies a quite unusual shopping mall. Other than around 150 stores and restaurants, outlets with brands you wont find elsewhere, but the most interesting is the giant ferris wheel that rise above the city and dips into the malls upper floors.
Other than that the city is very known for its traditional puppet theatre called Bunraku, and all in all a very nice city that must be seen.
