London, Immersed in history

London is one of the most popular cities for tourists in the world. and by far the biggest city in Europe. London is alive day and night. Whatever you like, London has attraction to everybody. The Buckingham palace the residence of the Royal family of London is one of the touristic hot spots of London. Together with the Windsor castle this palace is one of the most important places in the British kingdom. The palace is mostly used for official occasions such as receiving state visits from other countries. Tourist mostly come to see the ceremonial change of guards. This ceremony takes place once a day (at 11:30 in the morning) according to ancient traditions.

On the edge of the district Soho you can find Chinatown. Chinatown exists out of a couple streets where you can only find Chinese restaurants, Chinese shops and Specialized herbal shops. A couple of streets are especially at night recognizable because of the typical red lanterns how hang above the streets. The street signs here are written in Chinese and English. If you want to go for Chinese food this is definitely where you should go.

Other things definitely worth seeing when you are in London: Millennium Bridge, Co-vent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, many parks and movie theaters and of course the London Eye if you want to get a beautiful view over London
