Island Lodge Backpacker is unique in its setting on Leisure Island.

Leisure Isle, an island in the Knysna Lagoon has become famous for its unique setting in the mouth of the famous Knysna Heads. Its beauty and serenity sets it apart from any other destination in South Africa. Leisure Isle prides itself on its safety and security.

Residents can walk safely around the island, day or night, with our own private beaches one can really put your feet up and relax while it offers the traveler an excellent base to explore the entire garden Route without changing location as everything is with minutes to an hour or so drive away.

The Lodge offers dorms and private rooms, BBQ, help desk, Baz Bus shuttle, Wi Fi, breakfast & supper om request, all activity booking desk, day tours, on site activities and much much more
