The name Tai 17 borrows from the island route 17, a route that accompanies many cyclists as they achieve their dreams of traveling Taiwan; it is also symbolic of freedom.

As the first budget backpacker in Lukang, we hope to share stories of Lukang, to give a proper place for meeting international friends and most of all to share the belief that traveling is a fun and practical way to approach a single united world.

Tai17backpacker is located in the alley between local food market and Lukang folk arts museum where you can easily access to tourism spots, nation-designated heritage, bus stations and open till late night little market.

There is a 6-bed dorm available for the solo backpackers. There is also a Tatami style room to sleep up to 5 persons to meet the family guests' need or for a group of friends.
