Thornycroft Lodge is nestled in the heart of Horseshoe Valley, on a large country estate resting on the banks of the Nahoon River. The surrounding hills and lush landscape cocoon you in a bubble of tranquility, separating you from the city of East London, which is only a 10 minute drive away.

The Lodge features spacious guest suites making maximum use of natural light, with large sliding doors opening onto the gardens.

The camp consists of 4 dorms, sleeping 20 guests each on bunk beds. It is situated next to our two dams. There are ample hot water showers, toilets, basins and lockers, a kitchen area, a dining hall seating 80 people, and a huge braai with seating all around for those relaxing 'camp' evenings.

Our spa offers a range of health treatments for men and women, designed to de-stress and rejuvenate. Massage treatments are most popular. To experience absolute bliss, combine one of our massage treatments with a sauna or jacuzzi soak.
