Steam Hostel is renovated from a 1960's building which is situated inside the Sichuan Chemical Industry Designing Institute. It is just five minutes' walking from one of the most famous attractions in Chengdu: Wu Hou Ci (the Memorial Hall for Zhu Geliang) and the famous Jinli Street for snacks.

The hostel features a strong musical theme and is a combination of musician, architect and engineer. There are total 26 rooms: 10 dormitories, 5 single rooms, 9 standard double rooms and 2 suites.

Different from other hostels, every room is with its own private bathroom. The dorm rooms have an inventive way to ensure the privacy of our guests, with comfortable stable beds. Free WIFI covers the whole hostel. The lobby is designed as a small bar with a stage suitable for performances, handcraft beer and it is a nice common area to meet friends all over the world.
