OBLIK Hostel - THE RAILWAY HOSTEL is the new accommodation in Bucharest , the capital of Romania, a town full of charm reminding of good interwar times, a lesson of modernism architecture. In this regards we wish our hostel to be - just like interwar Bucharest - a place where everything happens.
The hostel is located on Calea Grivitei 95-97 which is one of the oldest streets in Bucharest; in the '30 the neighborhood was a kind of Little Montmartre, with old houses of interwar tradesmen's families, with artists studious and a student atmosphere because of the two universities in the area ; our hostel is in an old neo classicism restored house, very nice designed by its architect owner.
Our hostel is a safe, clean, modern equipped, with big common spaces and full of character house, waiting for you to discover it.
OBLIK Hostel - THE RAILWAY HOSTEL is very close to the Central Railway Station Gara de Nord - about 10 minutes walk to the center of the city; it's the closest hostel to Gara de Nord.

Nearby Oblik Hostel there are many attractions available:
- for a very relaxing walk you may rich Cismigiu Garden - a small park with a lake witch in just a few minutes from the hostel; from there you may continue to the Parliament building and National Modern Art Museum;
- 10 minutes walk is Victoria Square with the government center; here start three of the most beautiful avenues in the city: Aviatorilor- a luxury residential area, Kiseleff with three beautiful museums and the famous Calea Victoriei the oldest street in the city. Aviatorilor and Kiseleff go to the north of the city to the biggest park in Europe Herastrau and another nice open air museum - The Village Museum;
- Calea Victoriei takes you to the center , in 20-25 minutes walk you are in the old city surrender by its many good restaurants and coffee's , unique bars, clubs and pubs - where life never stops.
