The Youthhostel Avenches is located a short distance from the Old Town and is set in a large and beautiful garden.

It is suitable for families with older children, who show interest for Roman history, horses or aeroplanes or who enjoy boat trips and cycling. This is an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday in a historic setting!

After extensive renovation work, the house will reopen for the 2014 summer season, along with a new pavilion containing two guest rooms that satisfy all standards of barrier-free travelling.
