With a new and improved location (but the same friendly spirit), East Side Hostel is back in Budapest to provide visitors to Hungary with clean and cosy budget-priced accommodations with a laid-back feeling.

Our spacious new facilities are located in the heart of the city within steps of one of the busiest squares of the city, (Blaha Lujza tér), on the subway (M2) and major tram (No.4 and 6) lines.

The former Jewish Quarter has a quaint atmosphere with characteristic people, a striking contrast between crumbling buildings, shiny new apartment blocks and unique monuments.
It is packed with historic and religious sights including the Great (Central) Synagogue in Dohány Street, and the Jewish Museum, but in addition to cultural heritage, the area has been completely revived over the last years, with more and more unique cafes and bars, design centers, art galleries open in the area making it.
