Staying in our heritage hostel offers you the opportunity to experience the rich local Peranakan culture. The building was build in the late 19th century and is currently gazette for conservation. The building structure is left largely untouched since its construction of over a hundred years ago. The architecture is based on Peranakan heritage theme where the facade is painted in pastel color of screaming nyonya green and pink. The center of the building is opened to an air well for natural lighting and ventilation, a typical architectural feature of those historical times. There is even a traditional well that allows you tap natural ground water in the hostel!
