Los Palmeros Hostel, has taken root in the true beating heart of Las Palmas, La Isleta. Located in the northern limits of the city on an isthmus between the port and the beach, this neighborhood was once home almost exclusively to fisherman and maritime workers. A hub of dock life that paved the way for the extended development of Las Palmas. While the residents now stem from many different walks of life, it is still the most authentic local experience you will find in the city.

The building occupies four floors, with a choice of 4 bed dorms, 2 bed dorms and double bed private rooms. Each room has a newly fitted bathroom and lockers. Towels and sheets are included . The walls are splashed with impressive artwork from some aspiring local hands. The rooftop boasts a large terrace with wifi, an outdoor kitchenette and BBQ to enjoy the eternal spring that is a trademark of Las Palmas.

Leaving the hostel you’ll find yourself surrounded by the charm of peeling facades and narrow streets, where people gather in bars for an impromptu song and the friendliest faces smile and chat from street benches. A short walk south is Mercado del Puerto, a closed-roof marketplace where you can indulge in the freshest and most delectable Canarian fare, as well as a vibrant tapas night every Friday. A stones throw from here is the northern-most end of Las Canteras, the exceptional 3.5 km stretch of beach that draws people to Las Palmas year-round. To the north is the iconic El Confital; a rocky beach and outcropping that provides a quiet, sheltered retreat from the city bustle as well as a world class surf spot.
