We were the first to open in the Calamuchita valley in 2009. Tinktinkie is in the country side in the beautiful Santa Rosa de Calamuchita. We are 80kms from Cordoba city and en-route to Mendoza, Rio Cuarto, Alta Gracia and Cordoba. The property is 300m from the Santa Rosa river. You can swim in the river or lounge at the 'beach'. Relax with a book in the hammock. There are a lot of opportunities for hiking, sightseeing and relaxing. In the evening you can visit the nightclub and mingle with the local people. Or why not rent bicycles and explore the country side?

What do we offer you?

Accommodation with a difference. We are not a big city property. While visiting us you will become part of our family and our day- to- day activities. We cook meals on request and our specialities are a mixture of the Russian, South African and Argentinian food.

Our rooms are new, modern and spacious. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and hot water 24 hours. Bedding and linen are included. Rooms have a magnificent view of the mountains, At night the sky is so clear you can pick the stars from the heavens.

We bake our own bread and serve it with a jam, dulce-de-leche and a home brewed pot of coffee. We do offer an American breakfast at an additional cost.

Our common room is fully equipped for cooking, an LCD monitor for watching movies and a large library of DVD's and books. It also has a fire place for those cold winter nights.

Everything in our property was made by local people. We pride ourselves in the fact that we support our local community.

The bus stop is 700m from the property and buses run every 30 minutes to the town centre, Villa General Belgrano, Villa Rumipal,Villa Del Dique,Alta Gracia and Cordoba. You can get a bus directly from the bus stop in the main road to Cordoba city.

We will gladly wait for you at the bus terminal and arrange for a taxi tot take you to the property.We speak English, Spanish, Russian and Afrikaans as well as a little German and Dutch.
