About us
Piccolo Catalunya is a newly renovated hostel located close to the centre of Alghero, in Via Vittorio Emanuele II 113, within walking distance of the city’s main attractions and of the lively old town where you will find the best restaurants, bars and shops.

By staying at Piccolo Catalunya you will enjoy both the safety and tranquility of our neighborhood, and all the fuss and fun of the lively old town, the beaches and the parks that are easily accessible from our location.

Accommodation
Whether you are traveling solo, with friends or family, or as a couple, here at Piccolo Catalunya you will find a variety of room types to suit all needs and budgets. Choose a private room with private bathroom or a dorm with ensuite shared bathroom (including several female only dorms). We assure you that our Hostel is a clean, calm, non-smoking and budget-friendly place to stay.

Services and activities
Feel free to use the common area on the second floor to relax and unwind – maybe with a book from the Book Crossing shelves!, and to take the opportunity to meet people and make new friends from all over the world. Have fun with one of the boardgames you will find on the shelves.

In the common area you will also find a fridge, microwaves and kettles for you to use, and two vending machines with yummy snacks and drinks. Unfortunately we cannot provide meals, but you will be within walking distance of the best restaurants in town!

Surroundings
During your stay in Alghero you can indulge in the greatest variety of activities: scuba diving, boat trips, trekking, horse riding, mountain biking, kayaking, stand up paddling, wind surfing, visiting archeological sites, shopping, wine tasting, eating the most delicious food and - of course, watching the longest and most beautiful sunsets in Italy! We are here to help you get the most out of your stay!
