A cordial, non-party hostel welcomes to experience genuine vibe amidst the ancient Inca settlement – Ollantaytambo, conveniently set in the middle of Sacred Valley. It is a tranquil place to explore, rest and socialize over a cup of coca tea rather than have wild fiestas.

Accommodation
All rooms including dorms have ensuite bathrooms, as well as lockers (please bring your padlock). Windows are protected from mosquitoes by special nets, which let only fresh air but no insects in. Like in all of Peru, there’s no central heating, but light duvets, strong pressure gas showers and heaters for rent (10 Soles per night) will keep you warm.

This is the brand-new sister hostel of the Mama Simona in Cusco, and essentially shares same values: comfort, style and simplicity. The hostel is quite small (only 9 rooms) and has all the necessary facilities.
There is a communal kitchen with everything you might need to prepare a good meal and share it with new friends. Want to leave your luggage for a couple days? Make use of our free storage space. There’s wifi on the grounds, but be warned: Internet in Ollantaytambo can be annoyingly slow.

Surroundings
Ollantaytambo is at least 600 m lower than Cusco and about twice closer to Machu Picchu, which means that a warm and spring-like atmosphere will definitely be a relief after the high altitude chill of the highlands.
