The hostel is housed in an old elementary school, which has been completely renovated but has retained its original features and restored features typical Madeiran construction with box roofs and wooden beams.
The decor is modern in a sophisticated / casual style, offering a comfortable and high quality stay.

There are private rooms and dorms (female and mixed) for eight people, with access to large and modern bathrooms. These dorms have bunk beds designed to provide maximum comfort with built-in closets, individual reading lights and electrical outlets.
