Established in 2012, Gap Year Hostel is a 5-minute walk from Boon Keng MRT Station and within a 30-minute drive from the Changi International Airport. Featuring high ceilings and housed in a two-storey pre-war shophouse, this contemporary-style design hostel has fully air-conditioned dormitory and family rooms with free personal lockers for storage. Each sleeping space comes with reading lights and a universal power socket. Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities.

We have a 20 bed single capsule room and a 4 double bed capsule family room. The rest are family rooms of 4 beds and 6 beds. Shared toilets in 1st floor and 2nd floor. We do have laundry services and provide towel only if upon request. We have free WiFi, free daily breakfast and also hair dryer and ironing equipment. Hostel is fully air conditioned.

We are the first backpacker hostel from Boon Keng mrt (Purple Line), so it takes less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Along the purple line, it is convenient to visit city centre such as Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Little India and Harbourfront.

We are very near to Bendemeer Mall and Bendemeer market where you can find cheap authentic local foods. Experience the Bendemeer neighbourhood like a local. There is coffee shops and mart besides us. There are also plenty of restaurants around us.
