About the property

In the March 2016 La Joya Hostel was an abandoned family house in a forgotten part of the city. However, the owners turned it into a modern spacious building offering a comfortable accommodation for very affordable prices. With the aim of revitalizing the area and bringing quality services it was built together with a bakery and a restaurant with a rooftop terrace. The complex provides a big variety of accommodation and catering services.

Accommodation

The property has 18 different rooms, each of them equipped with a bathroom. There are several types: matrimonial, twin, triple, quadruple or single private and the rest are dorm rooms of 4 to 6 beds, one of which is exclusively female. The dorm and some triple or quadruple rooms contain bunk beds.

In the private rooms are provided towels and soaps, some of them are equipped with the TV, all of them have a desk. For the dorms towels are provided but guests must pay a deposit.

Services and activities

The building has a spacious hall with sofas, a TV and dinning room, a fully equipped kitchen, a wide rooftop terrace with a grill. There is wifi connection in all the rooms and a computer with the internet is also available free of charge for the guests.

In the prize of the rooms is included a delicious breakfast with unlimited drinks (juices, coffee, tea), fresh baked bread and fruits.


Surroundings

The hostel is very well located just four blocks away from the bus terminal and two blocks from the metro station Barón. Just across the street you can find the largest shopping mall in the city. It takes about 20 minutes walking the historic centre, but the bus stop is right in front of the hostel.
