Hostal El Xique, located in the center of the city, was established in 1980. It is only a few steps from the colonial Plaza Mayor and the most important places such as casa de la music, bus station, banks, museums, money exchanges. Close to Trinidad there are a lot of beaches, like Ancon beach, the best beach on Cuba’s southern coast with white sand and shallow water, is located 12km from Trinidad (20 minutes by car or bus).
