About us
The Summit B&B is a four-bedroom 'Queenslander', with a wide inviting deck on three sides, giving panoramic views from all rooms. Situated next to an Environmental Park and surrounded by Mabi Rainforest, privacy from neighbours is assured and native wildlife abounds.

Constructed and opened in August 2008, it is our new establishment.

Accommodation
There are three bedrooms - the 'Bandicoot', 'Pademelon' & 'Wallaby' rooms, all of which have private ensuites. The rooms are configured with king beds that can be split for twin share. The Pademelon bedroom, has an interconnecting ensuite into two rooms, each with a king that can be split for twin share - suitable for a family of 4 or 2 singles or 2 couples that know each other, who want separate rooms, but who do not require the full cost of 2 rooms with 2 ensuites.

Services and activities
Rainforest walks are at your back door, spotlighting at night is a feature, while native pademelons, tree kangaroos and wallabies feed at your feet. The panoramic views, as you relax or entertain, are stunning.
Please note that for the 1 bedroom apartment double bed private with private bathroom the breakfast is not included.


Surroundings
The “Atherton Tablelands” or “Cairns Highlands”, situated close to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef, the Waterfalls and Crater Lake District is a wonderful place to spend some time in Far North Queensland.
Townships in the Tablelands region include: Atherton, Mareeba, Herberton, Millaa Millaa, Ravenshoe, Yungaburra and Malanda.
With an annual rainfall of around 1400mm, Atherton (The most central town), and its immediate district, are a lovely tropical green.

Why should you stay with us
An ideal position to base yourself. Visit the crater lakes, world heritage rainforest, waterfalls and historical areas. You can even explore further west, out to the Gulf Savannah and other Outback areas.
