Hostel Adria is a bit off the beaten track, about 10km south of Split. The Sea is right in front of the door, just a stone’s throw away. BREAKFAST INCLUDED
Most of our guests count the location of our hostel among it’s advantages, since we are away from the main tourist paths, but with the sea still right in front of the door, NO joke :-). But we are not out of reach, since we are located right between Split and Omis (with about 10-15km away from each), both cities can be reached easily by local bus, taxi , bike or car (of course).
You can spend your days on the beach and enjoy the clear Adriatic Sea in the bright sun; in the evening, you can go to Omis or Split and be part of the amazing nightlife there. Or, if you prefer an easy evening in our small village, watch the sunset over the Adriatic Sea and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Bajnice.
The next pebbled beach is less than 100m away from the Hostel. Simply cross the road, pass the barbecue spot, go along the seaside and you are on the beach. In order to get to the beach you will come along the family house’s own private barbecue place, directly situated at the seaside. Barbecue can be used until 11:00 pm.
* Our new building has just finishing renovations (painting) on the ground floor. Private Ensuite Rooms are located on the second floor and available to book. Shared bathroom dorms & privates are in our seaside building (no renovations there!)
* Phone calls free nearly worldwide. Just ask the staff and they will hand you the phone!
* Beautiful sea view from the balcony on the first floor.
* Breakfast is served 8am-11am
* Check-out is 11am, you do not have to leave we just need to get the room ready for the next guests!

ABOUT SPLIT
Split is the second largest city of Croatia and the largest in the region of Dalmatia. Split has almost 200,000 inhabitants and about 400.000 people living in it’s nearby vicinity. UNESCO labeled the town (it is more than 1700 years old) as a World Heritage sight. Diocletian's Palace is one of the main attractions of the town.
Split lies on the peninsula of Marjan. It has a beautiful historic district, which is located at the southern seaside of Marjan.
In the old town, you may visit the Cathedral of Sveti Duje (Saint Duje), which in old times was the Diocletian mausoleum. Pay it’s tower a visit, the view across town is astonishing. The Podrumi (cellars) are a network of hallways beneath the Diocletian Palace, which in modern times usually host some sort of exhibition.
