There’s no hostel in Playa Del Carmen that is closer to the sea than Popol Vuh, we are practically on the beach! Others like to make this claim but check out our video so you can see for yourself.

We are privileged to have a prime location, conveniently located near the main bus station, the world famous 5th Avenue (the main strip) and literally steps from the white, sandy beach. Start your day at Restaurant Popol Vuh where every morning you will find an assortment of cereals, eggs, toast, jams, butter, coffee and milk. After a fun day on the beach there is nothing more relaxing than to lay in a hammock enjoying tropical breezes in the shade of our palm trees. The guest kitchen is available to you whenever you’re in the mood to cook. It has all the cookware you’ll need to make a great meal including a charcoal grill for serving up perfectly seared vegetables, steaks and burgers or just let us do the cooking. At our restaurant you’ll find delicious, Mexican cuisine located at the front of our property just steps from the majestic Caribbean Sea. We have two Wi-Fi networks providing Internet connections for all of your mobile devices, computers and tablets. Our hostel is ideal for every kind of traveler. Whether you’re by yourself, a couple, a group or an entire family: MI CASA ES SU CASA! Our property here is very unique and not just a house that has been converted into a hostel. With 14 private rooms and one dormitory, we have a place for everyone. There are four rooms with air conditioning, cable T.V. and private bathrooms; four cabanas with private bathrooms and fans; six cabanas with a shared bathroom and fans and one mixed dormitory with air conditioning, a private bathroom and lockers.

We have a daily cleaning service and offer parking (up to three cars) if previously requested.
