This is a “Sustainable Living Experience", not just a hostel. We of ers clean, comfortable rooms
in a funky farm house with a great Tropical Breakfast. 7 acres on Rio Naranjo in Londers, 10
miles EAST of Quepos.
Finca Amanecer means Sunrise Farms or Awakening. This is a small family run 7 acre playground
with lots of room to roam. Relax and refresh your soul in our creek or sun bath in “My Secrete
Garden”. Enjoy your tropical breakfast while bird watching on the patio or just hang out in a
hammock. Healthy vegetarian, vegan or gluten free meals available with advanced notice. We
of er a yoga space and PanEuRhythmy, meditation in motion. “Ask Elena” has been taking care
of tourist needs since 1990. Londres is a quiet Tico town on Rio Naranjo, it's cooler, greener and
much more fragrant than Quepos. You may even see the Scarlet Macaws here.
The dorm rooms are in the original "La Casa Vieja" farm house from the early days of the Finca.
Rates include taxes, a “finca tour”, and breakfast of fruits with cinnamon tea or cof ee and
generally something baked in the Solar Oven or pancakes. You are invited to “pick your own
breakfast” and beautiful tropical flowers for your room. Fans (or blankets) and mosquito nets are
available for all rooms, and talcum powder to keep your sheets fresh and dry.

The Hummingbird room has a double bed, a sink and east facing garden view windows with sunny
mornings.
Escondido has a double bed with one window and a private door to the patio.This is best for late
sleepers.
The Library DORM has one sets of bunk beds, made with teak from the farm, and an individual,
one window and private entrance to the patio.
These share the community bathroom with a tiled, hot shower, 2 toilets and the “Periwinkle Pila”,
a large tiled utility sink. WiFi is available.
The mini­suite has 2 private double beds rooms, both with large garden view windows and a sink,
they share an in­suite bath and a door to the patio.
The Master Suite has 2 private double beds rooms, both with garden view windows and share the
large salon and a private bath. It has a door to the patio.
Everyone hangs out on the patio. This is a NON­SMOKING facility. We often have Movie Night
or "Join the Discussion" night and of course GAME night. but we do get up with the sun,
Amanecer.... we have fun, but it is not a late night party place. We welcome clothing optional,
except in the creek because of our Tico neighbors.
