A wise traveller knows that a hostel is about the experience you have there, so read about a typical traveller's week in Hostel & Bar Giraffe.
Monday I arrived in Krakow, my plan is to stay for 3 days and then I will go to the next city. I checked into my hostel and it's great. It's so relaxed, the staff are friendly and helpful and they have a bar! I spent most of the day playing on the free pool and football tables. In the evening we got some beers and played on a Playstation. It was so fun.
Tuesday I took a free walking tour around Krakow, and WOW, this is a beautiful city. When we returned to the hostel after a few drinks there were other travellers watching movie on the big screen so I joined them. What a hostel, I booked an extra night...
Wednesday Today I caught up with my friends on Facebook and Skype, then I got all my clothes washed and ironed. How many hostels have free Internet and laundry service on site??? The evening was pretty relaxed, interesting conversations with the staff and other guests. I'm sad I only have 2 nights left.
Thursday I went to the Jewish District today, it was great. The city has so much culture to offer. In the evening some of the staff took us around some great bars, it was basically a pub crawl. This is possibly the best hostel in the world. I'm going to stay for the weekend.
Friday After spending the day playing chess and reading a book from the hostel's book swap, we started to play twister in the evening. Then we decided to go clubbing to the place recommended at the reception. A bunch of the guests went down there and it was great, I don't remember what time I went to bed.
Saturday Ooh, hangover! This Polish vodka is strong stuff. Tonight will be my last night, and I don't feel too good. I played some Playstation again and tried to party, but my stomach wouldn't let me. Thanks god there is a pharmacy next door. I chat with staff on the reception, they are awesome!
Sunday I left the hostel, and I miss it already. I will come back later as I left my backpack in a free luggage room. It was a great place to make friends and have fun. I will definitely be back one day. I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to party and have a great time.
