Astor York is set in a beautiful Grade II listed building just minutes walk to the historic centre! With a huge cozy lounge, and dining areas, free WiFi throughout the building and every room ensuite, Astor York is the perfect base for exploring the incredible historic centre of York.

All of our rooms are En-suite, there is fast Wifi access throughout the whole building, including in all of the rooms, 24 hour access by Electronic Keycard and breakfast is just £1 with all proceeds going to charity.

Meet up for breakfast, or relax in the evening with a drink or some games. The Dining Room can be used throughout the day and is where we will hold most of our in-house events!

The bar is stocked with everything you could need, and priced for the budget traveller, and there is a kitchen where you can cook your own food if you are on a budget.

The building is in the St. Paul square / Holgate Road Conservation area, and is a 10 minute walk from York Railway Station, and the historic centre of York. If you don't feel like walking there are local buses that stop right outside the hostel, and will take you to the station or into the town centre.
