Vuna valley borders the Umtamvuna river and nature reserve and is 8 minutes from a number of great beaches. The reserve offers 259 bird species as well as 7 hiking trails and world renowned trees and plants.

Activities include mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, diving, horse riding, fishing, golf and off road excursions. The coast offers a number of great surfing spots at protected beaches.

June - July we have great weather plus the internationally famous Sardine Run, where huge shoals of sardines reaching 4klm in width and 15klm in length enters the south coast starting in the Wild Coast. Following these fish are thousands of dolphins, ragged tooth sharks, humped back whales and thousands of birds all feeding in a frenzy.
