Sydney's southern beachside YHA offers all backpackers security with lockers, personalised safes and 24 hour security access. We are also wheelchair accessible and equipped with an elevator!

Cronulla Beach YHA has a payphone for guests use, fax and intetner/WiFi, 24 hour TV room with book exchange, free video library, games, and a playstation, 24 hour kitchen with free tea & coffee, a free to use pool table, 24 hour outdoor smoking courtyard, 24 hour coin-operated laundry with iron, free to use sandboards, surfboard hire for $15 a day (multi-day rates available), free luggage storage, free linen and towels, and undercover and on street parking at no charge. With 6km of beaches only 400m away, we have breaks to suit all levels of surfers. Lessons available, or try Shark Island, Voodoo or Cronulla Point for experienced surfers!

Catch a ferry over to the Royal National Park and discover Aboriginal carvings, secluded beaches and waterfalls; and for bushwalkers hike either the 26km coastal walk, optionally staying at Garie Beach YHA midway.

Learn to dive at Sydney's best diving spots. Kayak the Port Hacking river, and access the national park. At night walk to restaurants, pubs and night-clubs.

Casual work is available locally. We actively source jobs for our guests. Many travellers use us as a base to save to fund their journeys. Due to our size we are more personalised than the bigger factory hostels of downtown.
