Number 6 is part of YMCA Cheltenham and provides income to support YMCA’s various charitable works across Gloucestershire. Number 6 has a long history and it has always provided accommodation in various concepts. The current project started in the beginning of 2018, our aim is not just to provide accommodation based on good value for money, but also to establish a community; a world community where people can connect and share stories with each out.

We have 29 rooms in total, including:
-2 dormitories (8 beds dorm, 6 beds dorm)
-20 private single rooms
-6 twin rooms
-1 triple room

All rooms comes with shared toilet and bathroom facilities based on each floor.
Rooms are coming with linen and towel and free WIFI.
We have a large shared fully equipped kitchen/lounge with a TV to enjoy. Iron/ironing board are placed in the lounge area. Free tea/coffee.

We have only stairs throughout the building with 3 floors.

Number 6’s centrality to the town centre gives guests plenty of choice for entertainment and dining out (only a short 5 minute walk from the High Street and 3 minutes from the Town Hall and theaters). Public transports are close; buses are 5-10 minutes, while the train station is about 25 minutes walk, it means our location is perfect to visit the beautiful Cotswold.
And whenever Cheltenham stages one of it many renowned festivals, Number 6 is typically just a couple of minutes walk away!

Being a Hostel as part of YMCA Cheltenham with it`s long history and purpose, we are unique in the area. Our location is also perfect for people travelling around Cotswold or just coming for shopping in Cheltenham or in Gloucester. We can accommodate individual travelers but also groups.
