It opened in January 2007 with the mission of welcoming independent travellers and backpackers to the heart of Rio de Janeiro's coolest district - Ipanema.
The hostel provides cost-effective and secure accommodation. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand round the clock with a warm welcome and all the local information, as well as running trips to all the major tourist attractions, to the Maracana for football fans, and to Rocinha favela.
