Ohmiya Ryokan is an affordable, small Japanese guesthouse in Hakone Yumoto. It is within walking distance from Odakyu Hakone Yumoto Station. Direct bus (100Yen) also available. We have an Internet PC on the first floor.

Located on Old Tokaido Road, one of the major roads built in the 17th century, connecting Edo and Kyoto, we are a peaceful ryokan where you can get away from the cities and enjoy the nature, onsen, and history of Hakone.

We use 100% natural ONSEN hot spring water only which is from the underground of our property. It is not circulated or reused. Baths can be used privately (free of charge) and available 24 hours. We have ping pong table (free of charge) and a karaoke kit.

Meals are optional. Dinner and breakfast (charged seperately) are Japanese-style and you can enjoy fresh fish from the famous Odawara Port near Hakone. Please ask us prices for meals in advance. Dinner (2000Yen per guest) must be ordered 3 days in advance by e-mail or phone. (in Japanese preferable) Breakfast (1000Yen per guest) can be ordered at the time of check-in.

All guest rooms are air-conditioned Japanese-style room with a TV and a fridge.

We offer delicious Japanese cuisine for breakfast and dinner. Our fresh sashimi (sliced raw fish) is directly brought from the Odawara Fishing Port. The dried fish, also famous in the area, is something you don't want to miss. Our breakfast menu has 8 dishes, all Japanese style.

Please note that 150yen (per person per night) of onsen bathing tax is charged separately, the same way as other hotels with hot springs. Children under 12yrs old are not taxed.

By Train:
From Tokyo, take the Romance Car on Odakyu Line from Shinjuku Station to Hakoneyumoto Station, 87 min.

From Nagoya, take the JR Hikari Shinkansen from Nagoya Station to Odawara Station, 71 min. Switch to Hakonetozan Line, and get off at Hakone Yumoto Station, 15 min.

We are about 15 min walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, or 5 min by bus.
If you walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, after getting out the exit, cross the Tokaido St (Route 1), and walk straight forward until you cross the river. Then turn left and follow the road until it hits the old Tokaido St (Kyu-Tokaido, Route 732). Take a right turn and walk on Kyu-Tokaido for about 10 min, and you will see us on the left side of the road.

If you take a bus from Hakone Yumoto Station, get on a bus bound for Soun-dori, and get off at Ohmiya Bus Stop. We are right in front of the bus stop.

The convenient 100Yen bus stops in front of our hotel. It departs from Hakone Yumoto bus terminal. Take the 'B Course Soun-dori ' Then tell the driver that you want to get off at Ohmiya Ryokan.
