We're in an oasis of quiet in the old part of town, where you can glance at the stylish architecture of the 19th century and some of the most beautiful churches in Europe.
In addition the many shops, restaurants and bars just five minutes away, nearby attractions include: The Houses of Parliament (the second biggest building in the world), The National Museum of Contemporary Art,The Old Princely Court and we're only two minutes away from the hippest club in town, Fabrica Club, an old factory remodeled for youngish attitudes.
Walking ten minutes north you get to the historical center, home to many art galleries, antique shops and coffeehouses. On a beautiful day, you can stroll down the narrow cobblestone streets and imagine the shopkeepers outside near their stores, encouraging people to buy their merchandise and negotiating prices with them.
A two-minute walk gets you to Carol Park which is one of the most beautiful in the city and contains a massive monument, as well as the eternal flame that marks the grave of the Unknown Soldier and offers pleasant walks down tree-lined paths, a good view of central Bucharest (from the monument) and plenty of photo opportunities. In summertime, the park's Arenele Romane is the stage for open-air concerts.
