Hello and welcome to Bananas!

Bananas Hostel is a colourful and friendly place to stay in Itacare, a surfy town set amongst stunning beaches and Atlantic Rain forest. You will never run out of beaches to visit or things to do in Itacare and we are more than happy to share our favourites with you.

Not only are we close to beaches and trails but our location in the middle of the main street 'Pituba' means bars, restaurants and shops are all within stumbling distance. If you don't want to go out, you can always grab a caipirinha from Bar-nana Bar and relax in a hammock or unwind in the unique grass couch amongst hummingbirds in our large tropical garden. We have a variety of social and chill-out areas to choose from according to your mood. You wont run out of entertainment with our movie nights shown on the projector, a pool table, table football table and poker nights not to mention our collection of instruments and weekly jam sessions. For you sports fans we show international sports including football and rugby (or whatever you fancy)!

We have a range of room options including dorms, doubles or kitchenette all with en-suite bathrooms. Camping is also available on request.

We have a 42' TV, a projector and the best SKY HD sports package and will be showing all the games, so you can be sure not to miss out on anything! We can also help travellers get to and from Salvador, so you can have your amazing beach holiday as well as seeing the games!
