The Universidade NOVA de Lisboa was founded on the 11th of August 1973, and is the youngest of Lisbon's three state Universities. Integrated within a framework of expansion and diversification of higher education, the University adopted a new model within the Portuguese system that stressed interdisciplinary approaches, technological developments while, at the same time, safeguarding offerings in traditional academic domains including medicine, sciences and humanities.

Residencia do Lumiar is a Universidade NOVA de Lisboa Halls of Residence, located near the Sporting Lisboa's Stadium and close to the airport, from where you can easily get yourself to the Lisbon city center by taking the metro, within 5 minutes walk at Quinta das Conchas station.
At walking distance you can reach the 'Campo Grande', one of the biggest public parks in Lisbon.
The residence offers all the necessary facilities, including Internet, kitchen or laundry service

The check in can be at any time, because we have 24 hour security, but its better to be done from 9.00 to 17.00, when we have the staff and the payments can be made.
The same for the check out, if the bill is already paid.
